Bugger, I wish I`d read this a week ago, I`ve just brought some Hagon progressive springs, is there any way of tweeking these or the standard springs for that matter on my LTD or is it bin everything and but some Linear ones

I guess it depends exactly what you want to achieve and how you want to use the bike.
One possibility might be to put emulator valves in with what you have now.

As it's an Ltd I can't see you riding it like you stole it, so I'm sure all will be well with the Hagons.

Cheeky sod, I do at times ring it's neck, I'll see how I get on then , it said on the Hagon fitting instructions that if the springs were below the tubes fit the spacers and above the tubes do not, mine however are level with the tubes, I have fitted them, could I take them out for a slightly softer ride 😊.

No, the spring rate is the spring rate. You need to be measuring the static and laden sag to determine if you need the spacers. On an Ltd I'd say 15-20mm static sag, with 40-50mm laden.
I didn't mean to be rude, but you're not going to be in the fast group at a track day on an Ltd, are you?

You was not being rude at all, that tech went straight over my head, the spacers were supplied with the springs, so your saying keep them in then, the original's were ok riding but bottomed out every time you touched the brake hence why I changed them. 😊

I checked the oil level today and the spacers are 40mm not 4 inches, what air pressure would be best, I have been running them at 15 psi
.

Try zero, then 15 and see which feels best for you.

Very interesting reading and just at the right time too. The Maxton kit sounds wonderful, particularly with external adjustment. Price is price, I've always believed in British engineering and there is no doubt Maxton do it right. If you buy quality you only have to buy it once.
