i found this dont know if its any use to you
Hello,I just got a set of martek coils off ebay, with the
instruction sheet. For road racing and normal street use,{non CDI
ignitions}use only terminals 1&3.Connect the 12 volt wire to
terminal 1,connect terminal 3 to points,or electronic ignition.Cover
unused terminal 2 with anything to keep it from shorting to
anything.Possibly a wire nut.Thats wiring option 1.There are three
more options. If you would like to know what they are, email me.One
more thing, they advise bolting or clamping the iron posts sticking
out of the ends,to the frame for heat transfer in cooling the
coils.Mine haven't been drilled out yet, that is my next step. These
are going onto my 86 kz1000p,with weak spark.
