#1 PostAuthor: tightwad » Tue Nov 05, 2013 9:22 pm

hi all, would i be right in thinking the lockset should all be the same key, bike is z1000 a2. ign/ tank/seat all use the same key (number is in the 700,s) but steering lock is totally different number(400,s). does,nt look like the lock has been changed/messed with,
where would i get a key to suit it

thanks ken

You can get a key from these people for about $12.50

http://www.key-men.com

or try

www.ashfieldsecurity.co.uk

or post the number of the key you want ...someone might have a spare.

No Ken - Ideally the same key should work all the locks....... sounds like the bike's had a different steering lock fitted at some point ( or even reframed  )
