Guyz, the owner previous to me on my project put a resin sealant in the fuel tank, dont know what this stuff is but looks like araldite, its breaking off after i gave it the nut and bolt shake treatment, but some lumps look stuck inside, only thing i can think of is to wrap in a blanket and stuff in a cement mixer with the tank full of gravel, dont want to have chemically dipped as he had a decent job on the paint, any ideas????

That company seems to know the score, may well be an option!,looking on you tube gave me an idea though i have access to an industrial water pressure cleaner, used for shifting blockages in drains etc if i can get that inside the tank could well do the trick !

I had the same problem and a big and I mean big lump of sealer was moving about in the tank. It looks like a load of the sealer collected in the bottom of the tank. I thought about cutting the bottom of the tank out, but got a chemical at a auto jumble. I guy said it may take a day or so to melt it. It took a week but worked fine. If you can wait I will get the name of the stuff or get you a tin, but it will be a few weeks until it is back on.

yeah i've just used the petseal remover(from tank care products)on my LTD tank, It had hard resin type sealant in the tank(from a previous owner) worked a treat but it also found more holes than I thought the tank already had
