Fuel tap configuration

Can anyone please remind me of the hose routing for the vacuum hose on the fuel tap of my Z1. Where does this attach to the carbs?
My bike is a recently overhauled, with 29mm Mikuni smoothbores and I am struggling to recall this information.

z1.s do not have a vacuum tap. but if you have fitted one you can use one of the vacuum take off's on the bottom of the inlet manifold rubbers

I bought the bike as a partly completed restoration a couple of years ago and have been chasing a misfire since (see my previos posts for details) Think I may have just had a eureka moment! Fingers crossed.

Can the accelerator pump on them carbs be done away with?
Is it just a matter of replacing the float bowls or is their more involved?

yes you can just replace the float chambers
