Need someone to rebuild 77 Z1000 engine in Glasgow area

#1 PostAuthor: zedrob » Tue Sep 02, 2014 8:04 am

I have a 77 A1 which has had the engine (good running order) stripped so that the cases could be chemically stripped and re-painted, they had been powdercoated and discolored.

I was hoping to find a knowledgeable club member to do the rebuild rather than trust it to a bike shop, no offence to bike shops but I think its better to get someone who is interested in Zeds.

I don't have the confidence to complete this by myself and I would like to get the bike back on the road ASAP, so I'm more than happy to pay a competent person to do the work.

If anyone is interested or if you can recommend someone then please get in touch.

Thanks in advance,

Zedrob
