Has Anyone Tried this New Z1-R Fender from DOREMI ??

#1 PostAuthor: pertonpc » Wed Sep 17, 2014 11:50 am

Has anyone seen or had one of these new Z1R mudguards -

http://japan.webike.net/products/1356270.html

Seems to be made to order.

I am assuming it is for 18 inch wheels as the fender struts are straight style - is it right that only the 19 inch fender had the curved struts :?:

I would like to know how close to an original they look and what they fit like if anyone can help.

PMC do all the plastics and this is the first new fender I have spotted - unless anyone knows different.

Cheers from Mark

Thanks Ted,

I found out the other day that Z1R mk II came from Kawasaki in luminous dark red - in very limited numbers.

So your scheme is not as radical as i thought

Hi Dave

I thought we had decided that the fully painted panels in the PMC catalogue were your old panels restored over in Japan.

Don't remember discussing this Doremi item - but I might have missed that bit during our chats.

This unpainted front fender is a new part made to order - not from an old repaired one and no exchange part required.

Have I got that correct :?:

Hi Mark,

Absolutely correct, I think you were considering having new panels and fender painted over here? Check your email, I sent you a picture and price for the fender. Price is shipped and duty paid.

Cheers

Dave
