Where do you get brake seal kits for zeds?

#1 PostAuthor: Whatever » Mon Jan 07, 2008 2:50 pm

Can anybody tell me where I can buy a couple of front brake caliper seal kits for standard Z900 calipers please?
Z-Power are out of stock until the end of Feb and I need the kits sooner.
Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give.
Paul

Thanks for the quick help. I have just contacted Z1 enterprises on the strength of that - but they are out of stock of A4 kits too..... but do have Z1 kits.
The bike is a Z1A but I think the calipers are later because the bleed nipples are set to one side as opposed to being in the centre.
The part numbers of the seals in the kits are different on the Z1 enterprise site - so do I assume they are not interchangable?
Can anybody clarify early and late calipers / seals for me and their interchangability (is that a real word?).
Cheers
Paul

Hi Whatever,
I think you do need to confirm which callipers you have fitted on your bike first, the Z900 pictures I have still show the bleed nipple in the middle.?
Maybe someone else can confirm this?

Whatever, if need be, post a pic of your calipers. We can then confirm what type they are.
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.

Z900 calipers are slightly convex externally around piston (below nipple) whereas Z1, A & B are flat and slightly recessed to accept the aluminium sticker. Not sure if seals are interchangeable.
