I put the battrey back on today after nearly getting to the end of a strip and rebuild
The high beam light is on as the neutral light
The neutral come on if you use the pass button
The oil light does not come on
All the other bit seem to be working ok
I hate wiring
As far as I can see all the wires are in the right places I did a A to B sticker on all the ends
The only thing different is I have used new switchs
Any help

It sounds like the The new Switches could be the culprit.
Were they repo parts ??
Me to also hates wiring,,better to see if any of the guys on here are close by and see if so one could have a look over. the wiring.
There are some good "sparkies" on here so you may be lucky

you need to swap round the bulb holders pass light to neutral & neutral to pass light . check the bulb in the oil lamp holder if thats ok short to earth the wire that goes to the oil pressure switch if the light comes on your pressure switch is faulty

Some of these repo switches are crap I am afraid.
I went through 3 switches to get one that actually works

I think you asked me a while back about restoring your switches, so if you still have them? Open up the head light, disconnect the replica ones, and plug in the old ones, ( if they worked before the rebuild ) and see if the problem is fixed.. If those new switches was the problem, You can send to me your old ones for refurb, or I might have a set already done? And could do you a part-ex on your old set.. ( Quickest way ) and you can send the new ones back for a refund.. Zed man ( switch guy ) :D

Just a update

Oil pressure switch buggered / ordered a new one
Going to swop the neutral and high beem / easy one to do
Tried the old switches but the lights still don't work with either must be something I have done
End on a good note / it started up and sounds really good

you can take the switch apart give it a good clean with brake cleaner before you order a new one. sometimes the switch doesn't connect to earth properly if you remove the big brass washer from the switch & put a thin washer underneath you will find it will work

Don't want to 'piss on your chips', but if it can fix itself, then it will most likely unfix itself at the most inconvenient moment. :??

Hi all
I'm nearly there about 99.9%
Everything is working bar one
When I press the brakes the clock lights come on
I'm still working on the front brakes so I put a wire across and the clock lights come on
