Hi Folks,
I have a new PMC replica silencer from Japan for my project bike.
It does not have the black painted end like an original factory one does.
Can someone with a NOS silencer or a MINT ORIGINAL one please take some close up pictures of the rear of the silencer where it is painted black by the gas outlet hole
I want to paint the black section onto my silencer and need to get it finishing at the right point so it looks correct.
Many Thanks from Mark

Thanks Kev,
Looks like the black finishes 1-2mm inside the lip.
I am going to try and mask or make a template to copy it.

Here is the reproduction silencer from PMC -
and here is what the factory silencer looked like from the rear.
So I masked off the end section with a tube.
After a couple of coats of Satin Black high temp. paint we got a more factory looking pipe.
Thanks to everyone who posted reference pictures which showed what to aim for.
