Brake Pads

#1 PostAuthor: wheelysteve » Mon May 18, 2015 9:13 pm

What are the most effective brake pads for a Z1B fitted with a Z power repro caliper?

Are the pads for these identical to genuine calipers?

Any feedback appreciated

Cheers, Steve

Do not use the Kyoto Pads, as they have only half the wear depth of other makes.

Have EBC FA55 pads in my calipers, seem to work fine.

Hope this helps. :D

That's novel, the words 'Effective' 'Brakes' and 'Z1' used in the same sentence...

Steve, I bought the ones that Z Power sell could be Ferodo but not sure. Rebuilt calipers, new master cylinder and also have twin disc conversion with drilled discs and braided hoses. Sorted my brakes out and for a Z1 it stops pretty well.
