CSR 1000 front disc. any other model fit ?

#1 PostAuthor: stevie g » Wed Sep 09, 2015 4:53 pm

Hi Guys, I'm not having a lot of luck finding a front disc for my CSR 1000. Every other model seems to be bigger or smaller. Does anyone know if any other bike shares these discs ? Or do you have one you might want to sell me, I've asked a couple of engineers up here if they could straighten my old one with no results, thanks $tevie.

My investigation says they were only fitted to that model.

But as Hillbilly said if you get the dimensions somebody may have a set

I've just looked a set of GPZ 1100 B2 front disc's & they look absolutely exactly the same as yours ! they measure up @ approx 285mm O/D & 130mm I/D , same & 7 bolt fix , same disc drilling pattern, same disc face rebate..........I recon it could well be them !!!
Hope this helps . Johny Brando.

They are 270 OD x 5mm thick x 4 bolt fixing. Mine is the CSR M1 wire wheel. There are lots that look the same but are usually too big a OD

CSR 1000 front disc. any other model fit ?

Cannot do that cos the drilled holes will be either too close to the edge or actually on the edge and don't think there's any out there that are not drilled as standard.

CSR 1000 front disc. any other model fit ?

As Z1bman says, Alloy centre fixing is 8 rivets, 4 bolt pattern fitting to wheel, 270 mm OD 130 ID x 5 mm . Even if I could get one with same OD and ID but with a different Alloy centre maybe I could get it changed, or is that possible ?
