Jetting Z900ltd

#1 PostAuthor: QITMAN » Wed Sep 30, 2015 6:06 am

Hi
Having rebuilt my KZ900Ltd which I've owned in different guises for 22 years, I finally fitted 4-4 exhausts. They look great but the engine does not pull as well as the last set of pipes. I realise these exhausts are more restrictive but as the 26mm carbs are running the recommended jetting, I was wondering whether you clever people could recommend jets to make the bike pull better?

Thanks
Mike

Yes they are the same type of exhaust, as Chris says you need to rejet as above to suit the 4-4..

Thanks Chris. I put standard ltd ones in a couple of years ago. Will change them to the 76 z900 ones.
Thanks again
