Hmmm, Ok thanks. Mine has Mikuni round slide CVs. Do you know if they were fitted with the same carbs as the Zephyr 750 ?

750 ltd carb confusion

The reason I'm asking all this is, I'm gonna build a 750 engine for my Zephyr which has an early GPZ lump in it at the moment. Gonna use a ZR7 bottom end which has the primary chain tensioner, gpz ut 750 barrels, head and cams, z550, gpz 550 or zeph 550 six speed gearbox and maybe skim the head a little. Been doing some research and it seems the 34 mm mikunis are pretty well suited to that setup if you can't get 29 mm smoothbores or the likes. Would love FCRs but too dear. So the previous owner of the ltd must have fitted these mikunis at some point. The ltd is I broke some time ago BTW.
