Production Numbers

#1 PostAuthor: nicomkii » Sun Feb 07, 2016 7:37 am

A long while back I found a list of production numbers for a majority of Zed models. Can't seem to find it again...

I'm chasing the amount made and if possible distribution of the 1979 Z1000 A3 MkII

If you are referring to the https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/ website

Its not worth the effort. Pluck a number out of the air, any number, divide by 5 and multiply by 10 and you will still be more accurate than that site is ....

Nah it wasn't that one Charlie, it was for total manufactured. By memory it is in the vicinity of 5500 give or take a few hundred.

** Working on the frame numbers and if they were all consecutive then for the 1979 A3A there were 4012 units produced and for the 1980 A4 there were 4002 units. Would that seem reasonable ?

Can't use that principle for engines though due to the cross pollination of engines and models through that period.
