Rubber Thingy

#1 PostAuthor: redzee » Wed Mar 23, 2016 8:46 pm

Guys,

Z1000J3 (Z1000R/Z1100R also?)

Does anyone know if the trip reset knob rubber cover bellow is still available? Tried CMSL and can't see it listed. Failing that, if you could help please.........

I have a photo of one but can't attach it to the post sorry.

Cheers,
Col.

Hi Redzee
Z1bman is correct the rubber is normally very well glued to the top half of the cover.
However I may be able to help ! Take a look at the pic and see if this is what you are after.

It is from a Gpz1100B2 . Let me know here or pm me if it is the correct one for you.
Cheers
Richard

Z1bman,
I have looked again and you are correct, comes as part of the assembly. This is NLA also unfortunately..... Thanks for helping though.

Richard L,
Spot on, that is exactly what I'm after. I have sent you a pm to discuss.
Cheers.

Thanks Baff, I couldn’t find them, only the whole clock surround and even that was NLA.

Glad to help. As a note I replaced both upper and lower binnacle surrounds on my B2 supplied direct from Kawasaki a couple of years ago due to cable chafing and a marked face. Not cheap though.
