vesrah head gasket

hi all goin to be fitting the vesrah head gasket on my z1a does it fit any way round cos the steel rings are round on both sides but one side looks flatter.

If you are unsure spray both sides of the gasket with copper gasket and leave to dry prior to fitting.

might av been a bit premature between my first post and keithz1r reply cos i think i fitted them the other way round i have put a very thin layer of hylomar on both sides cud it be ok or is it a strip and start again.

It's not "end of the world" and should be okay..... just depends how anal you are. Its a gasket and is compressed equally both sides, by similar flat metal surfaces. I'd give it a go and not sweat it :wink: although I'm sure someone will be along to condemn my answer as sh*te :lol:

PS: Hope it's not BLUE hylomar, needs to be high heat resistant.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
