Replaced under warranty.

Ordinarily they wouldn't have a date stamp.

Johns pic has cleared up my confusion and thus goes with what Chris has said.

My understanding was A1's weren't Stamped, A2's were. But of the A2's I'd seen none had the 1978 stamp.
