Seized choke

Hi Lads .l just replaced carbs with new rebuilt kits . The carbs are off 78/79 z1000 . The type with one fuel feed .Keep the carbs together cleaned out channels with petrol an high pressure air,left them dry for 24 hours, an then just replaced what was in the kit . Put them on the bike an the choke nackenizem is seized. Any solutions or tips would be much appreciated? Thanks John

remove the choke lever shaft & pull the choke valves individually with some pliers to find out which one is seized

Lever slide screw to tight ? Loosen all the mechanism and see if it starts to move freely.

Check linkage is free is so as advised ,check each plunger,if any are stiff removed and very lightly use wet and dry on rotary tool to polish bores,this always happens when carbs have been cleaned and bores not ,the ally tends to fur up.
