Z1000a1 fuel tap

#1 PostAuthor: Mr Bump » Mon Nov 28, 2016 8:47 am

Morning all,

The fuel tap on my a1 (twin outlet manual type) dribbles fuel out of the pipe outlets when turned off. It doesn't leak externally.

I reckon it must need a new rubber sleeve thingy (the one with holes in). A brief look has found the o ring kits, but not this bit. Anywhere i can get them from? It doesn't look like it was available as a spare from kawa when new.

Thanks,

Olly

Bummer.

Is it worth buying a pattern one from z power and taking the guts out of it to rebuild the genuine tap? Are they similar enough to do this?

Thanks

Would be surpised, doesnt seem to be any viable options out there, some of the copy ones are very poor, pingles always an option but not in keeping with the look of a z...
