Contact within KHI for manufacture date cert?

I believe the dvla now require a date cert from the manufacturer before issuing a date related plate? If this is correct is there a go to contact within KHI to obtain one?
I'm after a date related plate for a 650, frame no KZ650B 507541, Engine no KZ650BE 030610 which makes it a 77 B1.

http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/en/products/p ... 1pGDQZFPSMI hope you have the original engine in it as Kawasaki UK will only issue a date certificate if the engine number matches the frame number as it came out of the factory.
Been there done that scenario
If you need one then VJMC will do you one at a cost.
The DVLA would not recognise a letter from the Z1 Owners Club as it was not on their list.

I had Rick Brett do my green zed after Kawasaki UK
Would not offer a cert as my engine was not the original.
It took a while, but they did in the end accept Ricks documentation & I was Issued a age related number.
Not sure if he still offers this service, but worth a try.
