Oil Filter dilema
Okay.... Hi-Flo reckon the correct oil filter for a Z900A4 is 401
The filter I got out of my A4 was metal and a bit longer
So whats going on.... is the bigger one for a Z1000J... (HF126?) can either be used?

Re: Oil Filter dilema
Some of the early 900's took the shorter 401 filter which was superseded by the 126.
The early oil filter bolt was different too with the circulation holes positioned higher up.
It's ok to use the 126 in all models of 900/1000 but don't use the shorter 401 in the later bikes as the holes in the bolt are lower down and the oil will bypass the filter.
