Just got some stuff done by Aurora PC in Aldershot. Looks passable and they blast and coat. They charge £125 to clean and coat a medium sized frame which is very good compared to recent prices locally. Cant vouch for the quality on things that matter as the stuff i had done is rusted nearly to its core!

It's a ZL900 frame I'm doing...so not concours, just remedial to look nice.

I'll be checking them all out.

If it's a frame, why not get it painted as per the original finish?

It's a Zl900 with a Zrx1100 engine, ZXR forks with a hayabusa wheel welded to the original shaft drive hub...originality is not at the forefront of my thinking.

Power coating is (in my view) superior to paint in protecting the frame. No-one going to be looking at the frame when it has some those other tasty features to ogle.

Have used this company before in UXBRIDGE WEST LONDON with good results. Be warned he chatty in fact "he talks the hind leg off a donkey" allow time for your visit.

£125 for blasting, primer and gloss paint.
