I guess I have a choice. gloss or satin black. what is the original finish please?

I believe the original finish on the master cylinder was anodised so satin if you're spraying and same for the calipers,
they weren't anodised, but satin would look better in my opinion.

Satin for calipers.

There are a couple of places do cylinder anodising, one being Mark Hutton.

Mikey had mine done. Paint is stripped too easily with brake fluid. I guess you could powder coat them

On my master cylinder I can see the last vestiges of anodising. I had painted them gloss, and was thinking does it look right. I went back to look at it yesterday only to discover that some thinner that was sitting near by had been spilt/leaked. So the choice to refinish was made for me. lol
My local anodises quotes 6 weeks as turn around, so paint it will be especially seeing as I have open access to a full colour scheme and pro spray kit. As I work in the car S.M.A.R.T repair business.
I am also surmising that the clutch lever bracket should be brought in with the satin finish.

Anyone tried this? would come in handy for those little bits and pieces. If its any good would soon pay for itself?

Calipers getting blasted.

Can anyone idendentify a date code on these.
Also, what colour should the bzp be on the rear pad retaining plate.
