Stator wiring problem

#1 PostAuthor: Jacko » Mon Jun 12, 2017 10:19 am

Hi guys, got a new stator for my Z1000A1 and the Oil pressure switch and neutral have round connectors instead of the original right angled connector. Anyone know where I can can the right angle connectors from?

Cheers

You could try this place, I dont recall seeing them on their website but could be tucked away someplace.

Cheers Warren, I've checked it out and they don't have them. Just wondering how other folk have sorted this problem out, I feel I shouldn't have to cut the old ones off and wire them to the new wires. I can't figure out why these stators are supplied with the incorrect connectors. I've looked at a few on the internet and they all have the same round flat connectors. :(

I can see some female soldered bullet connectors bent at 90 deg and heat shrink sleeve coming on.

Most common term is bullet connector so just searched "90 degree bullet connector" and got them on the first hit.
