Chaps, im thinking of converting my z900 A4 to twin discs when i start the front end build. Ive got one caliper already and for all intensive purposeses looks as though it will fit the right side as well.
Am i right in thinking its the caliper bracket that's handed, with the only difference being the circular fork recesses. Would it be dooable to try myself with some sort of grinder??????

Bleed nipple position is also in a different place.

But on mine, the bleed nipple is in line with the oil pipe inlet, so it would be the same.

Just the bracket is handed I'm pretty sure but you'd be better with a proper rhs bracket.

I did it on my 1000A1 last year when just getting aquainted with this forum. I just bought a common caliper and turned the bracket round and bolted it on. It has machined face on one side and has a stamped out look on the other side. Always meant to mill it completely flat where it bolts to the fork leg but haven't got round to it yet. As long as the bleed nipple is in line with the hose joint I don't see any problem with doing this. Seems to work OK.
