Please could someone advise best method to restore forks and brake plate. (Z1a)
All are in good condition, was considering just vapour blast and light Autosol.
Don't want to loose casting marks etc, as want to keep as original as possible to how the bike was first sold.
Best method ??
Thanks

Re: Forks & Rear Brake Plate
Why Vapour Blast them, wont that damage the surface.
I bought the £52.80 Polishing kit from here - http://www.thepolishingshop.co.uk/acata ... -Kits.html
Comes with abrasive prepolishing mops and grit.
Much better than trying to use Autosol
