I would get it booked for a Dyno test now Lee. Maybe the jetting on your new RS34's is not quite right for what you have.
Obviously you will need front brakes if you are going to ride it there

Dave, I was kinda thinking I had gone as far as I could for now.. Once I get brakes and do a few short runs I'll do that. Maybe by then I'll be on route back to UK anyway so might make the language barrier easier! Lol
