z1000 1978 electrics

1978 Z1000 RUNNING DYNA S IGNITION DYNA COILS AND TAYLOR LEADS blew a coil on my last trip out replaced it with a standard to get me home that blew as well ignition checks out fine reg rec is running at 15 when revved that's to much isn't it? replace the reg rec as a start?
