Can anyone point me in the right direction as to the correct colour tint on the original Shinkolite screen on a 78 Z1R from what I can see it's a bronze colour as fitted to my current project that needs replacement. But I have seen adds with smoke grey stating to be standard just want to order and fit the right colour.
Thanks in advance
Ken

Mine had the original Shinkolite screen -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtAwler4L4wand there are some still pics of it that will enlarge if you click them here -
http://www.zedrider.co.uk/z1-r.htmlI would describe it as dark grey tint - not bronze.

Bit vof a tricky one Grad, however it safe to say that the screens are all susceptible to Uv colour degredation over time even more so in locations where the sun is quite strong. You can be forgiven for seeing some with a bronze tint which in extreme cases can be nearly pinkish ( i have one in the loft) I think the shade they were looking for was "Smoked Grey" and that is the shade you can see on my early british bkes in varying depths

Maybe it can vary.
I would describe my original one as not opaque and a very very dark brown -
In darker light conditions it can appear virtually black.
