Heard the best way to clean the carbs is ultra sonically, so 2 questions: is it? And what size bath is needed?

After the usual degrease in solvent etc the ultrasonic is used as the last stage in the cleaning process along with blowing them out with the air line.
For the cleaner, the bigger the better so you can fit in more parts in each session.
6ltr is probably the minimum useful size to take a couple of bare carb bodies.
You must strip the carbs down to their individual component parts when cleaning.
You CANNOT ultrasonic complete carbs or banks of carbs unless you want to ruin the precision fit of the internal parts.
