Hi all - if anyone has some pics and details of the tank and panel pin striping on a 77 A1 I would be grateful. What width are the stripes, are they both the same, what is the gap? Sort of thing.

I have seen some which drop down at the rear of the tank but I think that may be the later models. My bike is going to be the Diamond Sky blue (or nearest variant I can find).

I need to give my spray fellow some guidance so that he can get the details as close as is possible so any tips and tricks would be welcome.

I'm sure there would have been pics posted here but the bleddy Photobucketballsup has removed most of them.

Can get you widths of stripes and gaps when I'm back home later today. Also if you want pics from different angles to show start and stop points let me know.

Hi, yes they are originals. Didn't have the heat shields when I got the bike but managed to track one NOS down in Canada and the other NOS down in Argentina so completed now.

OK, 5mm stripe, 4mm gap, 2mm stripe.

Oh yea, didn't think of that, back in a minute. Mines diamond sky blue original colour. Probably can give you the paint code if you need it. Just need to sort through the cans in the workshop to find it though!

Nearly finished mine, waiting for the paint set to come back, going for a different blue, going for super candy blue, she who must be obeyed didn't like the red or diamond blue, the only thing that is eluding me is a right hand pipe, don't suppose anyone out there has one.

I could ask my contact in Argentina if he could help. He's 500 metres from the warehouse that bought the entire NOS of Kawasaki parts for the whole of South America.

Can you check the part numbers your after.
Ive got this for the RH exhaust 18001-1008 and this for number 3 down pipe 18049-1090.
If you can confirm these are what your after I'll see what I can sort.
