help
Hi Gang ... I'm based in Welwyn Herts and recently have imported a KZ900A its not running well at all (not sure its firing on all cylinders) and also the carbs leak if the fuel is left on when the bikes not running, anyone know of any good local mechanics that really know their way around a Z1

Re: help
Gravity fuel tap is best turned off when bike not running - more prone to leaks than later vacuum taps.
Someone gave me a tip to turn the tap off a little while before you park up in garage - to let it drain the bowls a bit.
If it is just weeping from one or more carb overflow pipes and not all it is usually a bit of muck stopping the needle valve seating right.
All above are fairly common & nowt to worry about.
