earth wire outer.

#1 PostAuthor: ianali » Tue Nov 21, 2017 1:15 pm

Just going over my bike cleanIng up and checking wiring. All pretty good apart from one earth wire that has lost an inch or so of its coating. The wire itself is good and shows no sign of damage. It is the earth that goes into a 6 pin connector running into the regulator. Dare I hope that the damage is just age related and re wrap the wire or should I worry more? Bike runs perfectly.

Thanks,

Ian.

if it "runs perfectly", don't worry, just redo that bit of insulation & check connection for corrosion & security.... sorted.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
