Don't know if he's still around but try Steve Tucker 01495 216394. Was big into Zeds at one time. No harm in a fone call. Abertillery I think . Colin S.

When did it last run? If the plugs are wet and it sparks it should at least fart... all this is assuming the cams are timed right. One would also hope there has been no fuel in it since the carbs were cleaned... also they don’t always clean first time. Have you tried new plugs?

Basics first, if you have a good spark as you say try removing the air filter, if it has one, and spraying easy start in the throat. If it runs on that you know you have a fuel problem.

if it has a good spark & is getting fuel it should at least attempt to fire. it may be down to it firing in the wrong place or valve timing is incorrectly set a compression test should determine if the valve timing is out & put a strobe light on it whilst turning it over will give some indication if its firing in the correct order

Could the coils on the wrong plugs cause this? 1+4 on 2+3?
