'81 Lawson rep round tank decals

Morning all,

Would anyone have the dimensions or even a template for the '81 round tank J Lawson decals? Since Kipkawa closed their doors I can't find a supplier, though Image Works are being very helpful.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Just the dimensions would be perfect, thank you! I was sent the photo below from one of our Dutch colleagues on the KZ1000J Facemuck site, where it all helps.

Hi,

Bear with me on this, and I’ll explain as best I can.
You may well want to take the basic measurements as a template, and then size up against your own tank and panels?

The white stripes are all consistently 6mm wide (maybe based on ¼ inch ?)

Tailpiece: measured vertically the blue bar = 55mm, so total height = 67mm.
Top length = 190mm, bottom = 210mm.
Short diagonal = 170mm (bottom left to top right)

Side cover: measured vertically the blue bar = 50mm, so total height = 62mm.
Top right edge measured horizontally the blue bar = 36mm, total length = 52mm (the white stripes are still 6mm wide, but cut off at an angle).

Tank: measured vertically the blue bar = 58mm, so total height = 70mm.
Vertical drop from lower white stripe to bottom ledge = 30mm.
Bottom left edge measured horizontally the blue bar = 30mm, total length = 46mm (again because of the cut-off angle).

I could try to get some measurements of tank decal length etc. but they might not be very accurate, and you might be better off measuring up against your own tank?

Thank you very much Rick, that's a great help.
I'll take your measurements and will compare them to my panels to make sure. I'll let you know the outcome out of interest.

The other option of course is that you decide to sell me your bodywork!
