Z1A Qs

Two questions concerning how/where pipes are routed on a Z1A:

1. Where do the carburettor vent pipes exit (the pair of pipes between carbs 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 above the fuel pipes)? On an A4 they pass under the frame at the rear of the tank and clip to the air filter box lid. On my Z1A they appear to finish under the tank between the top rails of the frame?

2. How is the oil feed pipe from the chain oiler tank to the pump routed? Mine is unsecured.

Hi Bill
Q1: the two vent tubes are at the right place
Q2: looking at old original advertisements for the Z1 the oil line runs above the plastic chain guard, through the hole in the left rear engine bracket, over the sprocket cover to the bottom of it, goes in the sprocket cover and then it gets connected to the pump.
Tip: look at the old Z1 pictures you can find on the web, lots of info there!
Greetings
Philippe

Thanks for that Philippe.
I had the exact 2 questions :??
The oil pump hose I actually got correct (more luck than judgement).
I would have definitely got the breather hoses incorrect as I would have copied my Z1000

the breather pipes should be pointing down towards the airbox to prevent water entering the the carbs
