Are these any good to use with an otherwise standard Z1R front brake set up?

Or is it sacrilege to fit these and stick to standard lines ?

No link Steve,

If you are talking about braided lines, my view is they are a safety upgrade and you can get them in black to resemble the original.

Oops, had a bit of a senior moment there.

These are the ones, HEL stainless brake hoses.

I've got the HEL black lines on the J :up
Safety upgrade and look more like original (or at least less obvious from a distance !)

I have Hel (black finish) brake lines - front and rear - on an otherwise standard set up Z1R.
They work very well and I would recommend them.

Cheers

These are the best pics I can take at the moment.
If you are after something identical to original in appearance you will spot they are slightly narrower and also
slightly less matt - more of a silk black in appearance. It was not an issue for me and the performance more than makes up for it. They came as a set and the lengths were spot on.
They replaced Venhills which in my opinion were not as good.
