unitrack GPZ weseco piston kit

Hi,
I have recntly purchased a 1170 piston kit for a gpz1100 , the head gasket is a one piece , the original is a two piece with an O ring for the cam chain tunnel, do i still need to fit the oring with the new gasket as iam un sure i would think not any advice please.
