Tank Lacquer Restore?
The lacquer on my A4 tank has a few blisters and some has flaked off, plus a scratch. The paint & pinstripes look ok. There's no bare metal or primer showing through so I wondered if it's possible to repair the lacquer coat, either by adding polish or some new lacquer?
Re: Tank Lacquer Restore?
yes
My advise is take to a painter who will flat it back to the base coat and re do all the lacquer coats
this is wise as there will be a reason the lacquer is lifting, so if only spots are done the rest will go the same way in time
