Cleaning Main & Pilot jets (Z1 )
A bit off advice please, are the jet perfectly clear as I had the jets out to clean & although I could see through them there looked to be something in there on all jets main & pilots , Dont want to go ramming something down there & wrecking them , Thanks in advance

Were the jets wet or dry? If you check them wet , ie fuel in 'em, they always appear half blocked . Give 'em a good blow through and see if it makes a difference.

Hold them up to a strong light,t should look like a spiders web shape inside the pilots due to side holes, main jets should be a clear hole, dont be tempted to use any hard object to poke clear as are easily damaged, ultrasonic cleaning is best.

pilots are like a spiders web & mains have like a y shape , when starting from cold it seems a bit reluctant to set off , ( after warming up for 5 mins ) & makes like a popping sound, after a 1/4 mile it runs fine , any thoughts , thanks for the reply's , martin
