Hi All,
I have a 1973 Z1 and want to sync the carbs after a good cleaning and reassembly. There is no mention in either of my manuals regarding the Fixed synchronizer cap on carb #4 , can someone explain this to me or point me in the right direction as to how this works. The manual explains setting each slide at 0.6mm-0.7mm from the bottom of the bore to the top of the notch am I doing this to #4 then matching #1,2,3, to that? Thanks Randy

Re: Carb Synchronizing
Yes exactly correct. No.4 is set as your master.
Make sure you follow manual and set the overall
idle adjustment correctly first that way you’ll be
able to adjust up/down uniformly around mid point.
