Hello anyone give me a vague idea of a repaint, I am stuck down in the west country “pointy bit” so limited on where I can get the parts too... been quoted £800 by a local bike paint place... they are very good

Try Ace of sprays at Bristol, he done mine, really good work, and is doing another tank for me in the same design as i wanted a standard cap instead of an aero filler, tank alone is about 450 but it has a lot of airbrushing making it more.

Sounds about right, similar to what I was quoted for a Z1100R paint scheme

Hutch - was charging around £500 for Z1B to club members. You can sleep at night knowing the colours and decals are spot on.

Last paint set he did for me. I posted up to him and he posted them back. He is in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Thanks for the replies, will probably contact Mr “Hutch” going to make the most of the summer on my current paint and save some funds for a paint job in the winter, Mrs H may be happier spent enough of late ...
