Hello can any one help please? I have restored my z900 a4 and have only just brought a replica air box silencer off eBay. I thought I had a standard air box ( bike is a Canadian model originally) but the silencer won’t fit it sits on top off battery with about 10/15 mmm higher than the air box hole . Attached some photos so you can have a look and advise. Been in contact with supplier and he’s say z9 a4 air box lid should be just above frame tubes and has given me measurements which I will check. He says I’ve possibly got a z1000 air box fitted. Many thanks in advance for your help cheers Mark

Looks more like a z1000 airbox to me, (single pipe clip on lid).
Alsol looks like a z1000 silencer cut down.

This is the airbox and silencer in my 900.

Its a thou airbox,prob cut down silencer as said,with a bit of thought you need to alter battery box to allow silencer to fit,a4 repro silencers are available from Oz.

What size battery do you have?

Get a different size battery - Z900A4 are smaller than some!
