Gaskets & Sealants

Sorry if this has been covered before; this weekend I'm planning on refitting my pistons, barrels and head to my rebuilt Z1000a1 bottom end and I'd be really grateful for a few last pointers:

I'm planning on using a genuine base gasket, genuine cam tunnel shaped O ring and Vesrah head gaskets. Grateful for thoughts on:

1. Vesrah head gaskets; are these considered OK or should I really pick up genuine ones?
2. Base gasket; should I install dry, greased or with a thin smear of sealant?
3. Head gasket; again should I install dry or with a thin smear of Hylomar or Wellseal?

Thanks,

Rob

I always use Cometic head gaskets but have used Vesrah in the past with no problems.
Base gaskets I always grease both sides to aid settlement and future ease of removal.
Head gasket needs no additional sealing except a slight smear of RTV fore and aft of the camchain tunnel.

As said no grease needed for head, not a bad idea for base. RTY to hold the cam tunnel o ring in place while you lower the head.
