Fork springs

#1 PostAuthor: Wrigers » Fri Jun 15, 2018 10:35 am

Bit of a strange one here chaps,,
Took the Z1b forks apart the other day and the two inards are different. The top one is correct i think, top tube bolt, spring and then the piston.
The bottom one i haven't a clue its totally different with a spacer and spring at the top, main spring, and then another spacer at the bottom, and the piston is different. Also the springs are different, same length but one has a tighter coil at the bottom.
Any ideas????.

Im on the look out for another correct slider if anyone has one, the main springs I'm thinking of replacing with progressive ones.
