Hi,
I'm just starting the reassembly of Z900 engine and have decided to replace the kick start with an APE blanking plate. In the upper crankcase housing there is a dowel pin that would normally locate the kickstart bushing, but won't be required now. Should this dowel pin be removed and if so what is the best way to extract it?
Thanks

Re: Z900 Kick Start
It should be a tightly pressed in and shouldn't move.
To be sure grip it with pliers and if it won't easily pull out (like it shouldn't) leave it.
