A4 key number

Only got one after market key for my A4 need to get a spare. Where will I find the key number is it on ignition barrel ?

It should be on all the locks

it should be stamped on the aluminium part of the switch you might need a magnifying glass to read it though

Question - once you have got the new blank, who are you going to use to cut the new key? I've got the same problem, got the blank but can't get any local keycutters to do it for me, cos they didn't supply the freakin blank!!!

I went to timpsons (outside most big Sainsbury’s or Tesco). With a blank triumph key no problem charged as much as a key and cut

got a Timpsons here - he said no. just seen a place in SE London that does m/c key cutting. Got 6 bikes that all need spare keys cut, so once I get all the blanks together I'll be going over and get them all done in one go.
