Hi all a dilemma..Gpz1100b1

Right I've be agonizing over this just looking for other options.

I have a 1981 b1 and ive gren looking for one for years as I had 3 in the late 80s and early 90s .

My plan has always been to build what I wanted in the 90s and could not afford common story ..

I've got plenty of parts together I.e
Zrx swing arm
Zx9r wheels
Zx9r front end
Zrx shocks ..and so on

It came with a works Harris exhaust which after blasting has some
Pin holes in the silencer not sure whether to sell and replace with Vance and Hines or repair it's not that bad..

Also ang ideas re the electronic speedo option for the zx9 front end ..

But I'm now affically torn between original ish resto (no injection) or build what I want I'm finding these to be vary hard to come by .

Opinions please lo ..

Cheers Chris

Build what you wanted to get the bike you always wanted.
Your only adding bolt on bits with the forks and swing arm etc you can always go back to standard kit at a later date.
Just do the mods with the option of returning back to standard if you build it with standard bits you will always wonder what if.
I am building one at present mine started as an engine I acquired for a mate and its gone from there. It will have xjr arm, gsxr wheels, ap brakes. Probably std forks though!

Hi Chris
build your dream bike but don't ruin the original frame, don't cut pieces off.
Keep the original parts so you can put it back to standard if you want to or if you want to sell it in the future.
Those GpZ 1100 become rare, they're too nice to ruin!
