Duff reg/rec?

I had a feeling the reg/rec was on the way out a couple of months ago, then on Sunday the bike popped a fuse and on checking the battery, it’s pushing out 15.7 volts at tick over, and 17 volts at 3k. What do we think?

Turn it off and get a combined rectifier / regulator.

Unfortunately it’s mullered now, you need another new one. Sounds like it was faulty. You might be able to get your money back. Fingers crossed.
